Catering License

Cook for events legally. We license your catering operation from kitchen to contract.

Who needs this

Caterers working events, private chefs scaling into catering, and restaurants adding catering as a revenue line. Home kitchens generally cannot be licensed for full catering, and we will tell you honestly what your setup qualifies for.

What we handle
  • State catering licensing
  • Licensed kitchen and commissary requirements
  • Local permits and business tax receipts
  • Guidance on what your current setup qualifies for
  • Alcohol service questions routed correctly (ABT)
Common questions

Can I cater from my home kitchen?

Generally no for full catering. Florida cottage food rules cover only certain low-risk foods sold directly. Real catering typically requires a licensed kitchen. We help you find the compliant path, including shared commercial kitchens.

Can I serve alcohol at events I cater?

Alcohol is licensed separately through the state. Depending on the event and venue, the answer changes. Ask us and we will route it correctly.
